Southbridge Planning Board Fails to Endorse Parcel Plan
Southbridge Planning Board motion to endorse a four-parcel merger fails for lack of a second.
Planning Board · Meeting of September 2, 2026
Southbridge Planning Board motion to endorse a four-parcel merger fails for lack of a second. A presenter told the board the plan would combine four separate parcels into a single lot and noted the owner's intent to "put an addition on the left side of the building." After a round of board questions, a member moved to endorse the plan as presented, but no other member seconded the motion, and it died without a vote. The remainder of the roughly 80-minute meeting was not clearly audible on the town's public-access recording, and no further votes could be confirmed.
The plan and the associated building addition remain without Planning Board approval.
