Svedberg, Jr., predeceased her in 2009; she leaves her son, Shane A. Svedberg, and his wife Marianne. She was the sister of Patricia A. McMahon, whose death is also noted in this column. Norman L. Benoit, 78, of Southbridge, died on Saturday, Sept. 12th, at UMass Memorial Medical Center, University Campus, in Worcester, following an eight-month battle with acute myeloid leukemia.
